Design for recycling, polymer recyclability and the impact of sealing on packaging circularity are themes that are becoming increasingly important within the packaging sector. Brightlands Materials Centre will be present at Empack on 16 March to explore these issues in greater depth.
In-depth polymer knowledge in practice
On behalf of Brightlands Materials Centre and TNO, scientist Silvia Gentiluomo will contribute her in-depth knowledge of polymers. In the Q&A session, she will zoom in on the material-technical aspects behind these issues and answer specific questions from the packaging industry.
Marieke Havermans, Senior Business Developer Circular Plastic Packaging at TNO and chair of the Dutch Packaging Association, will also be present. With over 25 years of experience, she combines expertise in polymers, packaging and the market. In this role, she contributes to Dr. Empack Consult by bringing together parties, knowledge and practice.
Connecting knowledge and the market
As second-line specialists, we support Dr. Empack by bringing together knowledge, practice and parties. Our role is focused on connecting scientific expertise with current issues in the packaging market. Through this bridging function, we contribute to strengthening the substantive discussion around circular packaging solutions.
